Maintain dignity and respect the local community! Tamang people are very particular about their traditions and monuments. You shouldn’t do any activities that directly dampen the beliefs and traditions of the local people. Always greet and try to start the conversation with humility. Don’t take pictures of the locals without prior permission. While visiting their monasteries, always follow the rules. If possible, you can donate the monastery as well. The entry is free but you can do some volunteering activity or simply donate!

Nepal Government and local community are so sensitive about protecting the natural and cultural heritages. Follow the eco – friendly measures. Don’t do activities that emit carbon and always go natural!

Since February 2025, the Langtang National Park authority in direction of the Nepal Government has banned the independent or solo trekking in the region. Don’t trek independently especially while doing the Tamang Heritage & Langtang Valley Trek.
