Trip Overview

Arun Valley Trek is in one of the deepest valleys in the world.  It is one of the least touristy trekking trails in Nepal located between Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) and Makalu-Barun National Parks. This valley provides an alternative approach to the Khumbu region. It is also abundantly rich in natural vegetation and wildlife with more than 650 species of birds and over 800 species of butterflies, the shelter of the rare and endangered Panda can be found on this trekking trail. The eastern part of Kanchenchunga base Camp trek with more interest tropical Rai, Sherpa, Tamang, and Chhetri villages.

Arun Valley trek is for the trekker who loves to walk through isolated and hidden valleys. Walking through the picturesque Sherpa villages is the main attraction of this region. Their unique culture and traditions will make your journey memorable. The route is extremely panoramic, providing us with outstanding mountain views, the natural jewel of lush hills, and rhododendron forests. We can see many Orchids and other flowers along a faint jungle trail with swirling prayer flags at Shipton La. You will experience the wonderful hospitality of the Sherpa people. The valley trek offers amazing trekking experiences showcasing the beauty of the natural paradise of Eastern Nepal.

The trekking routes were reached by flying directly to Tumlingtar, a small village located on a plateau. If you are looking for wilderness and solitude and can overcome the logistical complications of the region this is the trek for you. Beautiful trip Organized by Everest Trekking Routes and team leader Rabin Gurung and also local Expert Mountain Porters. Annapurna Circuit Trek with Rabin Gurung

It was a trip we will always remember and be proud of. You need not worry about anything since Dhan (Sameer Gurung) and their group will arrange everything (i.e. Hotel, Food, transportation, a plane ticket to Lukla, etc.). The trekking was long and arduous yet our guide was very accommodating and conscious of us. He knows the place very well and will gladly tell you stories about it along the way. The whole trek was truly breathtaking. You won’t regret this trip! (Note: Try to reach viewing deck areas before sunrise and watch as the sun makes everything look spectacular!☺)

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Dhansingh Gurung

Dhansingh guided me on compressed Annapurna Circuit trek late last year and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Having someone who knew the route, language, local culture, weather conditions and wildlife intimately enabled me to relax and get the most from my trip. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt extremely well looked after and safe from the moment I arrived in Nepal right up until I left. I couldn’t recommend more highly, very professional service.

We had a wonderful time on our trek. We did the 8 day ABC trek. The route is beautiful with lots of stunning vistas. Our guide Dhansingh was knowledgable and friendly and really looked after us. I would be happy to recommend this tour to anyone thinking of tackling ABC.

Everest Gokyo & Renjola Pass with Dhansigh

I first met Dhansingh in May of 2016 when we completed the Renjo La pass. I’ve now returned this summer of ’17 to explore with Dhansingh some areas of Annapurna. Dhansingh’s competency is the first rate, and he a very pleasant person with whom to spend time. I highly recommend Everest Trekking Routes.
