Trip Overview

The Mardi Himal Trek – a complete guide and itinerary

Mardi Himal Trek is a less-travel route in the Annapurna region. It is best to experience the brilliance of solitary at every snow-capped peak. We will have an opportunity to see great opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain. This trek is a short but high-altitude trekking trail. You will walk on the high ridge of magnificent views, beautiful landscapes, and green scenery. The landscapes change quite abruptly into rugged high mountain landscapes with amazing views of the mountain. Nowadays many travelers feel more crowded at Annapurna Base Camp and change their plans for their next journey to Mardi Himal.

Machhapuchhre Model Trek is perfect for those types of trekkers who are willing to explore the remotest Himalayan part of Nepal. We will have an opportunity to know about the lifestyle, culture, and traditions of the Gurung people on this route. This is also one of the reasons that make trekking in this area pristine and worthwhile. You will get stunning views of the snowy mountain peaks. The trek passes through the lush green valleys and fascinating villages that offer impressive snow-capped views of the white Himalayans.

Mardi Himal Trek is an interesting trek to the Himalayans. The trek offers amazing mountain scenery, glacial terrain, high mountain passes, beautiful forest, and ancient monasteries. The path is so less used and non-touristy that you will feel like embarking upon a discovery expedition. Walking across the chain of the green hill, you will have beautiful memories. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, fishtail, and many others mountains. We enter the Annapurna conservation area which is also the home of many rare birds, animals, flora, and fauna.

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Rabin Gurung

It was a trip we will always remember and be proud of. You need not worry about anything since Dhan (Sameer Gurung) and their group will arrange everything (i.e. Hotel, Food, transportation, a plane ticket to Lukla, etc.). The trekking was long and arduous yet our guide was very accommodating and conscious of us. He knows the place very well and will gladly tell you stories about it along the way. The whole trek was truly breathtaking. You won’t regret this trip! (Note: Try to reach viewing deck areas before sunrise and watch as the sun makes everything look spectacular!☺)

Annapurna Circuit Trek with Dhansingh Gurung

Dhansingh guided me on compressed Annapurna Circuit trek late last year and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Having someone who knew the route, language, local culture, weather conditions and wildlife intimately enabled me to relax and get the most from my trip. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt extremely well looked after and safe from the moment I arrived in Nepal right up until I left. I couldn’t recommend more highly, very professional service.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek with Dhansingh

We had a wonderful time on our trek. We did the 8 day ABC trek. The route is beautiful with lots of stunning vistas. Our guide Dhansingh was knowledgable and friendly and really looked after us. I would be happy to recommend this tour to anyone thinking of tackling ABC.

Everest Gokyo & Renjola Pass with Dhansigh

I first met Dhansingh in May of 2016 when we completed the Renjo La pass. I’ve now returned this summer of ’17 to explore with Dhansingh some areas of Annapurna. Dhansingh’s competency is the first rate, and he a very pleasant person with whom to spend time. I highly recommend Everest Trekking Routes.
