Makalu Base Camp Trek

Makalu Base Camp Trek is one of the most challenging trekking routes which can do that trekker who is physically or mentally fit. This trekking route is situated in the Makalu Barun national park. This trekking route is most difficult climbs in the world. In this trekking route, we can see the beautiful view of Mt Makalu which is the fifth highest peak in the world. Awesome scenery of this trekking route significantly provides unique cultural heritage and incredible views of mountain peaks. The trail to this trekking route envelops plain, the subtropical valley of Arun River basin to extraordinary temperate passes called Keke La pass (4230m) and Tutu La pass (4200m).   The Barun valley is a part of a huge international protected area under the agreement between the governments of Nepal and China. The area which comprises 2330 sq. km of National Park and 830 sq. km of the conservation area in Nepal alone.

Makalu Base Camp Trek begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar of Mid-eastern Nepal for half an hour’s.  In this trekking route most of the remote outposts and the cherished cultures of its most isolated inhabitants and unfrequented areas of Nepal.  This trekking route covered an area of 2330 sq. km extending around the Solukhumbu and Sankhuwasabha districts of Nepal.  The Everest Trekking routes will lead you as your Professional Mountain Guide and trough Trekking trail.we will pass through five different ecological zones, viewing a diversity of flora and fauna as we go. This trekking route is a true adventure with scenery so beautiful that it will never tire you.  In this trekking route, we can see most Gurung, Rai, and Sherpa inhabitants in this area which are the main inhabitants of this region.  This trekking route of Makalu is nestled in a former restricted conservation area, and even today pristine, and wild in the best possible way.

Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar (518m), Trek to Khadbari (1025m)
Day 04: Trek from Khadbari to Chichila (1,800m)
Day 05: Trek from Chichile to Num (1,500m)
Day 06: Trek Num to Seduwa (1,493m)
Day 07: Trek Seduwa to Tashi Gaun (2,200m)
Day 08: Trek Tashi Gaun to Kahuma Danda (3,500m)
Day 09: Trek Kahuma Danda to Mumbuk (3,400m)
Day 10: Trek Mumbuk to Nehe Kharka (3,750m)
Day 11: Trek from Nehe Kharka to Sherson (4,600m)
Day 12: Free day at Sherson for a day excursion
Day 13: Trek Sherson to Yangri Kharka (3,645m)
Day 14: Trek from Yangri Kharka to Mumbuk (3,400m)
Day 15: Trek from Mumbuk to Kahuma Danda (3,500m)
Day 16: Trek from Kahuma Danda to Navagaun (2,500m) via Tashi Gaun
Day 17: Trek from Navagaun to Num via Seduwa
Day 18: Trek from Num to Chichile (1,800m)
Day 19: Trek from Chichile to Khadbari
Day 20: Trek from Khadbari to Tumlingtar (400m)
Day 21: Fly from Tumlingtar to Kathmandu
Day 23: Final International Departure
