Chisopani Nagarkot Dhulikhel Namabudhha Trek

Chisopani Nagarkot Dhulikhel Namabudhha Trek route is an excellent route for the trekker who does not have enough time for long treks and is looking for short, easy, scenic trekking.  This trek starts from the Kathmandu Valley.It is designed to provide you a unique opportunity to explore the wonder of the nature of rural Nepal.  This trekking route is always showing the majesty and beauty of the dramatic mountain ranges and is the best place to view the Himalayas from the comfort of your Hotel balcony.

A short drive to trailhead Sundarijal, 18kms northeast of Kathmandu, the valley takes you away from traffic and crowds and the trekking trail goes through typical villages and the huge dense forest of Shivapuri National Park. This trekking route gives an opportunity to experience the beautiful nature and scenery as well as villages and their traditional inhabitants.From this trekking route, we can see more than 60 Nepalese mountains.

Chisopani Nagarkot Dhulikhel Namabudhha Trek where you will enjoy being in the beauty of nature leaving aside the tumult of the city. The next day we trek to Nargakot where we stay overnight getting up early for the sunrise over the Himalayas. From Nargakot we continue to Dhulikhel for an overnight stay and then trek to Namo Buddha staying overnight with the Buddist monks. The next day we trek to  Panauti and then drive back to Kathmandu.

From the top of this trekking route, you can see the views of the western mountain like Manaslu, Boudhahimal, Ganesh Himal range, Langtang range, Dorjelakpa, Shisangma, and Gaurishankar. Early sunrise views on this trekking route are the most hypnotic with awesome views.

Outline itinerary

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal& trek to Chisapani (2160m/7130ft) 5/6 hrs

Day 03: Chisopani – Nagarkot (2175m/7134ft) 5-6 hrs

Day 04: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel (1550m) 5-6 hrs.

Day 05: Dhulikhel – Namo Buddha (1810m) 5/6 hrs

Day 06: Namo Buddha – Panauti (1620m) – Drive to Kathmandu: 4-5 hrs

Day 07: Final departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

After arriving in Kathmandu, a delegate from Everest Trekking Routes will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you may take a rest or visit the Everest Trekking Routes office. In the evening there will be welcome dinner given by Everest Trekking Routes where you will be served Nepalese food which will introduce you to the country’s food culture.

 

Day 03: Drive to Sundarijal & trek to Chisapani (2160m/7130ft) 5/6 hrs

Today we will transfer to Sundari Jal and trek to Chisopani, Sundari Jal is one of the biggest drinking water sources of Kathmandu. From Sundari Jal, take 4 to 5 hours to Chisopani into Shivapuri National park. Beautiful village Mulkharka and wild evergreen view before Shivapuri danda. The highest point is 2400m which must pass then descending end of the day. And we will spend one night in the beautiful village. 

Day 04: Chisopani - Nagarkot (2175m/7134ft) 5-6 hrs

We will trek to Nagarkot, the trail goes 7 to 8 hours into Shivapuri national park forest. From Chisopani can see the panoramic view as Langtang lerung, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lakpa, Sisha Pangma, Gaurishankar and Many others trekking peak. Before Nagarkot, we will have to pass Beautiful village traditional Chauki Bhanjyang and many typical village. After reaching Nagarkot, we will explore all around the Nagarkot and we will spend one night. 

Day 05: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel (1550m) 5-6 hrs.

Early morning to see the sunrise view and lot’s of enjoy with great Himalayan scenery and return to the same hotel take breakfast and continue to Dhulikhel it take 5/6 hours. Trekking to toward local villages, the dhulikhel is beside of Kathmandu valley and origin from Newar and visit to many old heritage Hindus temple and city sightseeing stay overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Dhulikhel – Namo Buddha (1810m) 5/6 hrs trek
After breakfast trek to Namo Buddha is 4/5 hours it biggest and most popular Buddhist monastery which is Namo budhha has mediated his life circle and lot’s of history describe by guide or lama of the monastery. There are not allowed to take any meat or scarified any creatures, will get vegetarian food, because Buddhism believe safe for nature and creatures, we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Namo Buddha – Panauti (1620m) – Drive to Kathmandu: 4-5 hrs trek 

In the morning time, we will trek towards Panauti after having breakfast. It has excellent views Himalayan ranges and all monks have been Buddhism mediate lama song. We get chance to see the natural beauty of Nepal. After reaching Panauti, we will have our lunch then after we will take some rest and we will move towards Kathmandu valley. After reaching Kathmandu valley we will explore all around the Kathmandu valley and we will spend one night.   

Day : Final  Departure

We will drop you at the International Airport with our vehicle for your departure and we will see you off.
