Langtang Valley Trek is situated in the north of Kathmandu which is the most popular trekking destination of the langtang region of Nepal.  In this region you could get to see huge snow-capped mountains and gorgeous glaciers where the whole valley is dominated by mount langtang lirgung and offers pine forest, Swift Mountain streams, rugged rock and snow- capped peaks, grassy lawn and meadows. This region is boarded by Tibet which was one of the important trading routes. In this region many people’s are from Tibet and many villager and people are still engaged in the trade. Few hours of drive from Kathmandu valley will take you to the langang region. This trekking route is more existing long day walk to langshisha kharka, from Kyangjin Gompa the trail heading east and trail follow the valley past the turn off to Tsergo Ri and the past airfield and it is the long walking approximately 10 hours from Kyangji Gompa.

Langtang Valley Trek is mainly to have trekked in the remote but the most Amazing valley of the langtamg region from where we can have an existing movement at high Gosaikunda Lake and Beautiful Tamang Villages.  We pass along the dramatic ridges through local villages inhabited by Tibetans, Tamang and Sherpa people and then we will come across the lush forest of Rhododendrons and oaks. The starting point of this trekking is sybrubasi and from the sybrubasi   you will follow the Langtang River to the east until you get to Kyangin Gompa with the overnight stay at Lama Hotel, Langtang valley respectively. The best time for trekking is September, October, November, December, February, March and April. In this region we can still see the influence in the rich local culture.  This voyage takes you off the beaten track into the valley of a hardly untouched people. It has been one of the demanded and well-loved trekking routes in the country. choice of the select short alternative Helamnu circuit and tamang heritage trails too.

Outline Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m/4,428ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing and trek preparation
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 7-8 hours
Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hours
Day 05: Trek to Mundu (3543m/11,621ft) via Langtang village: 6-7 hours
Day 06:  Mundu to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 4-5 hours
Day 07: Acclimatization- Explore Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hours
Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel: 6-7 hours
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi: 4-5 hours
Day 10: Syabrubesi to Kathmandu
Day 11: Final International departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, The representatives by Everest Trekking Routes will welcome to you at TIA Upon your Arrival. we transfer to hotel overnight stay.

Day 02: Full day Sight Seeing Kathmandu Valley

After the breakfast, we spend the whole day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley as major point. One of the biggest Stupa in the world, Bouddhanath stupa and Monastry, Old heritage Buddhist temple Soyembhunath and Monastry, Kathmandu Durbar Squer Kumari temple and Patan Durbar Squar krishna temple. The kathmandu sightseeing is real Nepalese traditional culture and heritage touring. After tour will back to hotel and preparation the Lantang Valley trip overnight stay hotel. 

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 145 km/ 7 hrs

After spending one night in Kathmandu we slowly drive to Syabrubasi which is 145 km from the Kathmandu valley. We will have lunch on the way and continue to drive  It takes 7 hours to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu valley and we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hrs

After Breakfast trek to lama hotel, It takes 6 hours to reach lama hotel from the Syabrubesi, we will continue to follow up langtang valley river and lot’s bamboo forest into trekking trail. because if weather is good then will see many type of wild animals as Red Panda, mountain longur, squer, wild board, dear and many type of birds. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Mundu (3543m/11,621ft) via Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6-7 hrs

After warm breakfast we trek to Mundu through langtang village which is totally disaster by earthquake 2015 slowly rebuilt some tea house Elevation of of 3543m mundu from the sea level. It takes more than 6 to7 hours to reach Mundu from Lama Hotel and we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 3 hrs

After warm breakfast we will slowly start our trek to Kyangjime Gompa , take delicious lunch and visit to Monastery Explore day at Kyangin gompa stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Explore Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hrs   

 Early morning take breakfast and hike up Tserkuri peak which is 5100m above the sea level. it take 7/8 hours walks. We have to pack lunch on day hike up. When we rich on Tserkuri peak, if weather is clear we will incredible view from the peak. Langtang Lirung, Nayakang, Ganja la pass and Ganesh Himal. Then return to same lodge stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 5/6 hours

After warm breakfast we will continue to Lama Hotel which is passing before same trail. it take 5/6 hours and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Syabrubesi 5 hours

After breakfast, same way return to syabru besi. End of the short langtang valley take and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Drive to Kathmandu 7hours

After Breakfast Transfer to Kathmandu long drive and tuff road by Private jeep or Express bus. It takes 6/7 hours and stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Final International Departure

We will drop you to the TIA for your final departure and happy journey your hometown, hope to see you again and good bye.
