Everest Gokyo Lake Trek starts from Lukla after half an hour Domestic flight from Kathmandu valley. The Himalayas stand like giants guarding the border into Tibet. The trek in advancing to the base of the world’s tallest mountain maps out spectacular vistas from such celebrated viewpoints like Gokyo Ri and Kala Patthar. The valley is considered to be the hidden valley with an appropriate blue lake inside the lap of Himalaya. The trail ascends above the tree line and you quite quickly find yourself walking in a stunning high-altitude landscape. The settlement is located in a natural are an overlooking the valley with the astonishing beauty of the surrounding mountains. We trek at a steady pace allowing ample time for acclimatization and plenty of opportunity to enjoy the renowned Sherpa hospitality. The lodge is basic but enough comfortable. The Himalayas stand like giants guarding the border into Tibet. We could be able to observe the friendly people, their warm hospitality, lifestyle, traditions, as well as their language.
