Earlier trekkers had to take Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) permit along with the Langtang National Park Entry permit. Nowadays, you don’t need TIMS permit but national park permit is required for trekking to Langtang. The cost of the Langtang National Park Entry Permit is NRs. 3000 to foreigners and NRs. 1500 to SAARC nationals. You can get these permits in any entry points of the Langtang National Park. For example, you can obtain the permit in Sundarijal, Dhunche, and Syabrubeshi checkpoints. In addition, you can also get the permit from the Nepal Tourism Board office as well.

When is the best time to trek in Langtang?
