You can obtain a Visa on Arrival directly at Tribhuvan International Airport. Three duration options exist: USD 30 for 15 days, USD 50 for 30 days, or USD 125 for 90 days.

For context, most Manaslu Circuit itineraries run 14 to 18 days from Kathmandu to Kathmandu. So, we generally recommend the 30-day option, especially if you plan on adding Kathmandu sightseeing.

You will need a passport valid for at least six months and a recent passport photo. Ideally, complete the online arrival form beforehand too. This detail alone can cut down queue time during the peak trekking months of October and November.

The Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP) and Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP) each cost around USD 30, since the route exits into Annapurna territory near Dharapani. No TIMS card is required here, as the RAP replaces it.
