DETAILS ITINERARY

DAY 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL

After arrive in the Kathmandu valley, our team will be there one person from our company to pick up you. After picking you, first of all, we will check out the hotel and take some rest in the hotel and have our lunch. After taking some rest, we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar. And makes plans for tomorrow’s plans and spends one night.

DAY 02: FLY TO LUKLA (2800M) AND TREK TO PKHAKDING (2652M.) 3-4 HOURS

If the hotel is able to make breakfast, we will have our breakfast and then we will have our breakfast in the Lukla. It is the first-day walking trekking of Island peak climbing. During the time of trekking, we will have to cross many suspension bridges and also have an opportunity to explore the national park. We will also pass through the Dudh Koshi stream and we will have an opportunity to explore Sherpa village. It takes almost 3 to 4 hours to reach Phakding from Lukla. After reach Phakding, we will explore all around the villages and spend one night in this beautiful village.

DAY 03: TREK TO NAMCHE BAZAAR (3440M) 5-6 HOURS

Walking up to the beautiful sunrise over the royal snow-capped peaks and we will also enjoy small tea houses and shops. Namche Bazaar is also known as the kingdom of Sherpa village. We cross and re-cross the river on high airy suspension bridges and we may even catch a wonderful view of the mountain, small villages, and beautiful landscapes. It is an uphill walk from Hillary bridges to Namche bazaar and we will have to cross many suspension bridges and beautiful Sherpa villages and landscapes. All the time of trekking, we will pass through the bank of Dudh Koshi. After walking some hours from Phakding, we will reach Manjo where we will have our lunch and take some rest and slowly move towards Namche Bazaar. After reaching Namche Bazaar, we will take some rest and spend overnight in this wonderful land.

DAY 04: REST DAY IN NAMCHE BAZAAR

This day we don’t start our trekking because today is for the rest day but we will explore all around the Namche bazaar. The place also features other essential services. Today we will explore, all around the Namche bazaar and today, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, Sherpa village, and old monastery in this village. And after exploring all around the villages, we will back to the hotel and spend overnight in this beautiful village.

DAY 05: NAMCHE BAZAAR TO PHORTSE (3,870M/12,694FT) 5- 6 HOURS

We will continue trek to Phortse medium beautiful Sherpa village. Beginning part flat and easy after Sanasa moderate slide and stepping to Mongla situate 4000m. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of Rhododendron, pine, and oak forest. We will have our lunch on the way and we will move towards Phortse. Take lunch that depends on choice and extremely descending to Phortse Tenga pass the bridge and end of our destination and we will stay overnight at lodge.

DAY 06: PHORTSE TO DINGBOCHE (4,360 M/14,300 FT) 5 – 6 HOURS

We trek to Dingboche, which is the massive viewpoint and chance to see lots of wild animals as Blue sheep, dear, Himalayan Thar, and Many of Domestic Yaks browsing grass. The Phortse to Dingboche is the most beautiful trail select by Everest Trekking Routes. Take lunch at Upper Pangboche or Samara and slowly trek to Dingboche and we will stay overnight at lodge.

DAY 07: DINGBOCHE ACCLIMATIZATION DAY

Today Acclimatization day at Dingboche just light hike to little pick or hike to Chhukung just combination acute mountain sickness and visit Dingboche Sherpa Villages. Will have to wear warm cloth and take lots of drinking water. Make sure could reach our Destination to EBC stay the extra night at the lodge.

DAY 08: DINGBOCHE TO LOBUCHE (4910 M) 5/6 HOURS

After hot breakfast we will continue trek to Lobuche, over 4000 meters have to most care health because before Lobuche slowly toward Dhukla and take lunch and rest for while and hard part stepping and amazing Lobuche peak,  Ama Dablam peak, Lobuche peak, Pumori peak, and  Nupse Peak. It makes us enjoy and stay overnight at lodge.

DAY 09: LOBUCHE TO GORAK SHEP (5170 M/16,961FT), 

From Lobuche to Gorakshep takes more than 2 hours and must leave early morning, because take the hot drink as tea or coffee continue to Gorakshep and get accommodation to leave the bag. Before the visit to Everest Base Camp, we have to Breakfast and take with us light food. It is the hard and long day all most 8 to 10 hours. Return from EBC and we will stay overnight at lodge.

DAY 10: GORAK SHEP TO KALA PATTHAR (5,545M/18,192FT) TO DINGBOCHE (4,400M): 16KM, 7-8 HOURS

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar peak 5545m. Which is our main destination sunrise and panoramic views front of the Mt Everest and Pumori Expedition, Magnificent Himalayan range and return to Gorakshep take breakfast then after that continue to trek to Dingboche. At the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and oak. We have our lunch on the then after we will continue our trekking towards Dingboche where we will stay overnight at lodge.

DAY 11: TREK TO CHHUKUNG (4730M.) 3-4 HOURS

After having breakfast we will slowly move towards Chhukung after spending the wonderful night in Dingboche. Walking up the thick icy rocks and narrow slippery path to arrive at the village of Dughla and we will have our lunch in this beautiful village and take some rest. At the time of trekking, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, monastery, and small village. We will have an opportunity to explore the Sherpa village. The trek crosses exciting suspension bridges on it and walks passing by a long Mani stone wall to enter the village of Dughla. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Chhukung from Dingboche where we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

DAY 11: TREK TO ISLAND PEAK BASE CAMP (5200M.) 5 HOURS

After having breakfast we will slowly move towards  Island Peak Base Camp after spending the wonderful night in Dingboche. Walking up the thick icy rocks and narrow slippery path to arrive at the village of Chhukung and we will have our lunch in this beautiful village and take some rest. At the time of trekking, we will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, landscapes, monastery, and small village. We will have an opportunity to explore the Sherpa village. The trek crosses exciting suspension bridges on it and walks passing by a long Mani stone wall to enter the village of Dughla. It takes 5 to 6 hours to reach Island Base Camp from CHHUKUNG where we will spend one night in this beautiful village.

12 DAY: CLIMB UP TO SUMMIT ISLAND PEAK (6189M.) AND RETURN TO BASE CAMP 10-12 HOURS

Today is the longest day trekking of the Island peak climbing in the Everest region and we will start our trekking early in the morning around 1 am. This will not be difficult but not risk-free and we will be at the ridgeline which takes you to an exciting pass onto the nose of the summit glacier. After summiting the glacier, we will have our lunch and then after, we will explore all around the base camp and slowly back towards base camp. It takes almost 10 to 12 hours to reach base camp and we will spend overnight in the base camp.

DAY 13: TREK TO PANGBOCHE (3985M.) 5-6 HOURS

Following the same route back through the wide valley of Khumbu Khola and we will be retracing the trail along the Imja Khola and cross it over suspension bridges. The trail heads towards Pangboche and the trial then drops, steep down to the valley crosses the suspension bridges. We will have an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain, beautiful landscapes, small villages, and we can also take a different trail to visit the Gompa. Once we are at another side of Imja Khola and we ascend towards Pangboche where we will spend one night.

DAY 14: TREK TO NAMCHE BAZAAR (5-6) HOURS

Waking up early in the beautiful valley of Pangboche and we will slowly move towards Namche Bazaar. Today, we will continue walking towards Namche Bazaar where we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, and juniper. You can enjoy the day wandering around town and the trail first drop down through the ridge and then the walk is fairly easier till Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is also known as the kingdom of the Sherpa people. With the views of the mountain, we will also have wonderful views of the small village and beautiful landscapes. Before reach in Namche bazaar, we will reach Tengboche where we will have our lunch and take some and explore all around the Tengboche monastery. It takes almost 4 to 5 hours to reach Namche Bazaar where we will spend one night.

DAY 16: TREK TO LUKLA 6-7 HOURS

Today is the last-day walking trekking of Island peak climbing in the Everest region. This is the last-night trekking in the mountains is the ideal opportunity to spend one night in the Sherpa village. The trail is little steeply downwards and also cross many suspension bridges over the fast flowing Dudh Khola and the trails become more level and natural. From Namche to Lukla, we will have to cross many forest and villages where will have our lunch and take some rest. After 6 to 7 hours of walk from Namche bazaar, we will reach Lukla where we will spend one night.

DAY 17: FLY TO KATHMANDU 30 MINUTES

Early in the morning, after having breakfast we will slowly move towards the local airport of Lukla to fly towards Kathmandu valley. After 45 minutes of mountain flight from Lukla, we will reach Kathmandu valley. And we will drive towards the hotel and check out the hotel. After checking out the hotel, we will have our lunch and take some rest. If we have time then we will explore all around the Kathmandu valley and if we have not then in the evening time, we will explore all around the Thamel Bazaar. In the evening time, we will have our farewell dinner and spend a luxury night in Kathmandu city.

DAY 18: FINAL INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURE

In the very early morning, we will slowly drive towards the international airport of Kathmandu according to your flight time. We will hope that you have enjoyed a lot with the team of Everest trekking routes and also give an opportunity to serve you again once in life.
