Searching for an Annapurna Base Camp trek all-inclusive package usually means one thing. You want a single price that will not fall apart into five separate bills once you land in Kathmandu, right?

That is a fair thing to want, honestly! Between permits, transport, teahouse stays, and a guide, the ABC trek carries more moving pieces than most first-time trekkers expect.

So in this guide, we at Everest Trekking Routes is going to break down what our 12-day all-inclusive package (along with other ones) covers, what it leaves out, and where your money actually goes on the trail!

What “All-Inclusive” Actually Covers on ABC Trek?

The term “all-inclusive” gets used loosely across the trekking industry, so we prefer to be specific.

Our Annapurna Base Camp package covers airport pickup and drop-off in Kathmandu. It also covers the Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu tourist bus, two nights in a Pokhara hotel with breakfast, and the shared jeep between Pokhara and Nayapul.

On the trail, it covers every meal, three times a day, along with teahouse accommodation for each night on the route. Both trekking permits and a licensed guide are part of the price too!

If you are travelling with at least one other trekker, we also include a porter, shared between two people. Solo trekkers do not get a porter automatically, though you can add one for an extra fee.

After a completed trek, we issue an adventure certificate. We also arrange emergency helicopter evacuation, which your travel insurance would then cover.

The 12-Day ABC Trek Itinerary at a Glance

Our standard route follows the classic ABC trail through Ghorepani and Poon Hill. This is different from the shorter, jeep-assisted variants some agencies now sell.

We can shorten this to a 7 or 10-day version on request. However, the Poon Hill detour is, in our experience, worth the extra two days for the sunrise view alone.

Permits and the Guide Rule You Cannot Skip

Two documents get you legally onto the ABC trail. These are:

1. Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP)
2. TIMS card (optional these days)

As of 2026, ACAP costs NPR 3,000 for foreign nationals and NPR 1,000 for SAARC nationals. Children under 10 do not need one at all.

Note that checkpoints at Birethanti and Chhomrong check your permits, so trekking without one can get you turned back on the trail!

Because our all-inclusive package at Everest Trekking Routes includes both permits and a licensed guide, you will not need to arrange any of this yourself once you land in Nepal.

What You Pay For Separately in ABC Trail?

Our all-inclusive price does not cover everything, and we would rather say so upfront!

Hotel nights and meals in Kathmandu sit outside the package. The same goes for any private car, domestic flight, or helicopter transfer you choose instead of the standard bus and jeep.

On the trail, personal costs add up separately, so budget for them.

Also, think hot showers, Wi-Fi, phone charging, bottled water, and bar bills.

Moreover, tips for your guide and porter are customary across Nepal, though never mandatory. Most trekkers set aside some cash for this before flying home. Yes, even these aren’t included!

How Much Does ABC Trek Package Cost?

Pricing for our Classic Annapurna Base Camp package is priced at USD 690 per person. Group size is the biggest factor behind this price!

Larger groups share fixed costs like transport and guide fees, so a party of six or eight usually pays less per head than a solo trekker does.

Agency pricing for ABC packages across Nepal spans roughly USD 450 to USD 1,200, depending on what gets bundled in. Because of that spread, we would suggest asking exactly what each agency includes before comparing two quotes on price alone.

Difficulty, Fitness, and When to Do the ABC Trek?

The ABC trek suits trekkers with moderate fitness rather than technical mountaineering experience. Expect 6 to 7 hours of walking most days.

A steep stone staircase near Ulleri and a demanding uphill stretch before Deurali are the toughest parts. Even so, nobody needs prior high-altitude experience to complete this trek.

We recommend building your cardiovascular fitness for several weeks before you fly out. That preparation matters more than raw strength on the trail!

Spring, from March to May, and autumn, from late September to November, remain the best seasons. Rhododendrons bloom in spring, while autumn brings dry, stable trails.

Monsoon months bring slippery paths and clouded views instead, so we generally advise against trekking to Annapurna Base Camp between June and August.

An all-inclusive package removes the guesswork, not every choice. You still decide your group size, your season, and how much you spend on personal extras along the trail.
