This trekking gives an opportunity to see the portal palace, Jokhang temple, beautiful landscapes, Tibetan monasteries, and Tibetan culture. Trekking along this route is one of the world’s greatest journeys. It is nearly 600km from the historic Lhasa city and has set the most beautiful and extreme landscapes in the world. That can be reached without the need for a crampon, ice ax, or any mountaineering skills. You will move to Tibet viewing the natural and man-made beauty on the way.

Tibet Everest Camp Trek begins in Lhasa where we visit Portal along with other landmarks of the city.  This trekking route is to the famous palace of the Dalai Lama, the great Drepung Monastery, and the holy Jokhang Temple. In this trekking, we weave through the ice pinnacles and cross the Rongbuk glacier to Rabu La. You can peer over into the Kangshung face of Everest. The sweeping views of Everest and its massif from the Rongbuk monastery with nomad tents make this trekking trip more amazing.   • Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650 m/11,972ft)
  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital: 5 – 6 hours
  • Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar: 5 – 6 hours
  • Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795 ft) via Gyantse: 367km, 6 – 7 hours
  • Day 05: Drive from Shigatse to Lotingri (4,050m/13,284 ft): 305km, 5-6 hours
  • Day 06: Drive from Lotingri to Lungchang and trek to Lungchang Pang (4600m/15091ft): 1-hour drive, 3 hours trek
  • Day 07: Lungchang Pang to Panga La Thang via Nam La Pass (4500m/ 16732ft) 5-6 hours
  • Day 08: Pangla Thang to Rongbuk (5,000m/16,400ft): 15km, 4 – 5 hours
