Tibet Everest Camp Trek

When you fly from Lhasa to Kathmandu you will get chance to see the amazing views of the Himalayan giants of Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kanchenjunga, four of the highest peaks in the world.   In this trekking, we embark on the highest trek in the world to Everest’s most stunning and secluded north face of our Everest Advanced Base Camp Trek from Tibet.  this trekking gives an opportunity to see the portal palace, Jhokang temple, lush valleys, beautiful landscape, Tibetan monasteries, Tibetan culture. This trekking is one of the world’s greatest journeys. This trekking nearly 600km from the historic Lhasa city has set the most beautiful and extreme landscapes in the world.

Tibet Everest Camp Trek begins in Lhasa where we visit Portal and Norbulingka Palaces along with other landmarks of the city.  We drive to Shigatse and finally to Lotingri which is where the actual trek begins from here. This trekking route is the famous palace of the Dalai Lama, Norbulinkha, the great Drepung Monastery and the holy Jokhang Temple. In this trekking, we weave through the ice pinnacles and cross the Rongbuk glacier to Rabu La where you can peer over into the Kangshung face of Everest. The sweeping views of Everest and its massif from Rongbuk monastery with nomad tents make this trekking trip more amazing and colorful. Day 01: Arrival in Lhasa (3,650 m/11,972ft)
Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Traditional Hospital: 5 - 6 hours
Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar: 5 - 6 hours
Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900m/12,795 ft) via Gyantse: 367km, 6 - 7 hours
Day 05: Drive from Shigatse to Lotingri (4,050m/13,284 ft): 305km, 5-6 hours
Day 06: Drive from Lotingri to Lungchang and trek to Lungchang Pang (4600m/15091ft): 1 hour drive, 3 hours trek
Day 07: Lungchang Pang to Panga La Thang via Nam La Pass (4500m/ 16732ft) 5-6 hours
Day 08: Pangla Thang to Rongbuk (5,000m/16,400ft): 15km, 4 - 5 hours
Day 09: Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp (5,250m/17,220ft): 4- 5 hours
Day 10: Acclimatization and Exploration at Everest Base Camp
Day 11: Everest Base Camp to Japanese Camp (5,460m/17,913ft): 12 Km, 3 - 4 hours
Day 12: Japanese Camp to Interim Camp (5,800m/19,028): 7 Km, 4 - 5 hours
Day 13: Trek to Changtse Base Camp (5,950m/19,520ft): 5 Km, 3 - 4 hours
Day 14: Trek to Everest Advanced Base camp and back to Changtse Base Camp (6,340m/20,800ft) : 7 to 8 hours
Day 15: Return to EBC and drive to Lotingri (4,348m/14,268ft): 5 -6 hours trek, 2 hour drive
Day 16: Drive from Lotingri to Kerung (2800m/9186ft): 4-5 hours
Day 17: Kerung to Kathmandu by drive
Day 18: Final International departure
