Mera Peak Climbing is a challenging peak climbing in Nepal. This peak climbing is best for all experienced trekkers looking for an exciting expedition’s style tented camping trek and climbing trip in Nepal. The climbing of this peak is regarded as the stunning and exciting journey. The views of from summit of this peak are climbing incredible and unimaginable. For the climbing in this route, one trekker should have physically fit and fine. This is not only a highly technical climbing peak. It is one of the popular lesser peaks and scaling the mountain you will need some mountaineering skill and it will be a wonderful adventurous trip. This is also the hub onto which each trail converges, so yaks and people compete for space in this amphitheater style city. Climbing this peak, we will entire the lush forest of Rhododendron, pine, oak, beautiful Sherpa village, landscapes, natural and mountain scenery of Nepal. It offers views of the amazing mountain scenery and insights into Sherpa lifestyle and culture as well as the mesmerizing panoramas of Everest and surrounding peaks. The villages have become the tourism hub of the country. The settlement is located in a natural are an overlooking the valley with the astonishing beauty of the surrounding mountains.

Mera Peak Climbing is also More Popular after Island Peak Climbing and Lobuche Peak Climbing. if You need to have excellent physical fitness and an extrovert sense of adventure. We not only pass through the beautiful Nepalese wilderness but also through quaint villages which will give us a glimpse into the culture of the locals. This trek is special packages designed for those trekkers who don’t have enough time to spend in Nepal but want to trek in the Everest, region. During the time of trekking, we get an opportunity to see the wonderful views of the mountain which includes Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu and other mountain peaks and as well as the largest glacier of Nepal. While trekking in this route, we will pass through the Sagarmatha national park which is the home of the many rare wild animals, birds, flora, and fauna. The season between March to May and October to December is considered as the best season for trekking in this route.

Day 01: Arrival in Katmandu ETR Member will meet you at the airport and transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Fly to Lukla, Acclimatization and Explore day (2800m)
Day 03: Trek to Chhutanga (3700m) 6 hours
Day 04: Trek to Chhatra La Pass (4600m) 7/8 hour
Day 05: Trek to Kothe (3,691m/12,109ft): 6-7 hours
Day 06: Trek to Thaknak (4,358m/14,297ft): 3-4 hours
Day 07: Trek to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft): 2-3 hours
Day 08: Khare: Acclimatization and pre-climb training
Day 09: Trek to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft): 6-7 hours
Day 10: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft) and back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft): 8-9 hours
Day 11: Trek to Kothe (3600m/11808ft): 4-5 hours
Day 12: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m/14,107ft): 5-6 hours
Day 13: Trek to Lukla via Zatrwa La passes: 6-7 hours
Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu 30 minute flight

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, The representatives by Everest Trekking Routes will welcome to you at TIA Upon your Arrival. We transfer to hotel overnight stay.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla, Acclimatization and Explore day (2800m) 30 minute flight

From hotel transfer to domestic airport and flight to lukla take around 30 minute, it is most adventures but Spectacular Himalayan scenery top of the world.  When we reach at lukla and take lunch after that we will have visit Lukla City and several Sherpa villages and Explore day at lukla for acclimatization and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 03: Trek to Chhutanga (3700m) 6 hours

After breakfast trek to Chhutanga, hike up couple hundred meters pass some stream and wooden bridges into wild forest stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Chhatra La Pass (4600m) 7/8 hour

After breakfast trek to chhatra la pass which is first high and technical area of Chhatra la, the Excellent views of east part Nepal as kusum kagaru, Mera pea, and many other trekking peak stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Kothe (3,691m/12,109ft): 6-7 hours

After breakfast trek to Kothe is most part downhill to reach hingku Valley River takes approximately 6-7 hour entering Arun valley national park stay overnight at kothe Villages lodge.  

Day 06: Trek to Thaknak (4,358m/14,297ft): 3-4 hours

After breakfast trek to Thaknak, today we are slowly bank of the Hinku Valley River with Amazing white Himalayan scenery and start acute mountain sickness area drinks lots of water and eat well stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Trek to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft): 2-3 hours

After breakfast trek to Khare, beautiful walking trail and slowly climb up take lots of picture hinku valley and Mera Peak South range wonderful views to reach Khare Mera Base Camp stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Khare: Acclimatization and pre–climb training

After breakfast climbing guide give basic climbing training for mera peak and just bit hike up and return to Base Camp it is very important day for Acclimatization form all trekkers. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft): 6-7 hours

After breakfast trek to Mera high camp takes 3-4 hour almost 800 meters climb up, we have pass mera la which is round Ampu lapcha pass or Sherpeni Col Pass route. Most part has covered by snow and ice area walking though grouping because need help each other stay overnight at Campsite on the snow.

Day 10: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft) and back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft): 8-9 hours

Wake up Early in the morning around at 1:00 AM preparation for Summit and take breakfast after that start around at 2:00 AM Mera Summit, today is very important day for Mera summit which is one of the Excellent Views from top of the Mera  summit. As Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Yu, Nuptse, Pumari, Barunche, Makalu, and many others Himalayan scenery and return to High camp take lunch continue to Mera Base Camp Khare stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Trek to Kothe (3600m/11808ft): 4-5 hours

After breakfast trek to khote same way back and following hinku valley stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m/14,107ft): 5-6 hours

After breakfast trek to Thulikharka, same trail though thulikharka stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla via Zatrwa La passes: 6-7 hours

After breakfast trek to lukla, today also tough day pass chhetra la is 4600m passing and down to technical area. And continue to lukla stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Fly to Kathmandu (30 Minute) Explore and shopping

After breakfast we short walk to airport and waiting for flight. Because some time very hard to get flight and lots of people waiting. We must reservation for flight before our trip. When we arrived in Kathmandu explore and shopping souvenir to your family.

Day 15: Final International departure

We will drop you to the TIA for your final departure and happy journey your hometown, hope to see you again and good bye.
