Langtang Goshaikunda Trek is the popular trekking routes of Langtang region of Nepal which combine the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang. The trek renders you eye-catching landscapes, the affinity of Nepali culture, distant valley trek to Langtang region. It is one of the most beautiful treks passing through the diverse ethnic group’s culture and verifies vegetation forest and wildlife. The amazing trek is specially designed with the combination of the remote and spectacular valley of Langtang. There will also be the chance to sample some of the local cheese at the famous cheese of Kanjin Gompa. The valley lies to the north of Kathmandu and is reached by a bus ride to the little trailhead of Dhunche. The valley is wide verities of vegetations pine forest, bamboo tree; rhododendron flower will give Eden path of the trek. The entire valley is an integral part of Langtang national park which is one of the oldest national’s parks in Nepal. This trek is can easily be done with children as well. We can still see the influence in the rich local culture.

Langtang Goshaikunda Trek and Langtang Valley Trek one of the classics, most diverse and stunning teahouse trek in the Himalayan and one of the most spectacular trekking routes in the world. During the time of trekking, we will pass through the lush forest of rhododendron, pine, oak, beautiful village, landscapes and the wonderful views of the mountain. Trekking in this route is considered as one of the challenging trekking trails of Nepal and offers us an incredible and diverse journey along this valley. It is taken as one of the best chance to get right in among the Himalayan peaks and to get off the beaten trails. While trekking in this route, we will pass through Langtang national park which is home of many rare wild animals, birds, flora, and fauna. Trekking to this trail, it is a varied trek in terms of nature, valleys, waterfalls and rivers, villages and Himalayans peaks. This trek is just south of Tibetan border and similar to the religious practices and lifestyle. The trek offers superb Himalayan views of this valley. The season between March to May and September and November Trekking in Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Preparation for the Trek
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 7-8 hours
Day 04: Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hours
Day 05: Trek to Mundu (3543m/11,621ft) via Langtang village: 6-7 hours
Day 06: Mundu to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 4-5 hours
Day 07: Acclimatization: explore Tserko Ri (5,000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hours
Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel: 6-7 hours
Day 09: Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316 ft): 5-6 hours
Day 10: Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa: 3-4 hours
Day 11: Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft): 5-6 hours
Day 12: Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,440m/11,286ft): 6-8 hours
Day 13: Ghopte to Melamchigaon (2,560m/8,399ft): 6-7 hours
Day 14: Melamchigaon to Tarkeghyang (2,590m/8,497ft): 5-6 hours
Day 15: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang (2,610m/8,563ft): 3-5 hours
Day 16: Trek to Melamchi Bazaar, drive to Kathmandu: 3-4 hours trek, 2 hours drive
Day 17: Final International departure


Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, The representatives by Everest Trekking Routes will welcome to you at TIA Upon your Arrival. We transfer to hotel overnight stay.

Day 02: Full day Sight Seeing Kathmandu Valley

After the breakfast, we spend the whole day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley as major point. One of the biggest Stupa in the world, Bouddhanath stupa and Monastry, Old heritage Buddhist temple Soyembhunath and Monastry, Kathmandu Durbar Squer Kumari temple and Patan Durbar Squar krishna temple. The kathmandu sightseeing is real Nepalese traditional culture and heritage touring. After tour will back to hotel and preparation the Annapurna Base camp trip overnight stay hotel. 

Day 03: Drive to Syabrubesi (1,550m/5,100ft): 145 km/ 7 hrs

After spending one night in Kathmandu we slowly drive to Syabrubasi which is 145 km from the Kathmandu valley. We will have lunch on the way and continue to drive  It takes 7 hours to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu valley and we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 6 hrs

After Breakfast trek to lama hotel, It takes 6 hours to reach lama hotel from the Syabrubesi, we will continue to follow up langtang valley river and lot’s bamboo forest into trekking trail. because if weather is good then will see many type of wild animals as Red Panda, mountain longur, squer, wild board, dear and many type of birds. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Trek to Mundu (3543m/11,621ft) via Langtang village (3,430m/11,253ft): 6-7 hrs

After warm breakfast we trek to Mundu through langtang village which is totally disaster by earthquake 2015 slowly rebuilt some tea house Elevation of of 3543m mundu from the sea level. It takes more than 6 to7 hours to reach Mundu from Lama Hotel and we will stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft): 3 hrs

After warm breakfast we will slowly start our trek to Kyangjime Gompa , take delicious lunch and visit to Monastery Explore day at Kyangin gompa stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Explore Tserko Ri (5000m/16,404ft) 7-8 hrs   

 Early morning take breakfast and hike up Tserkuri peak which is 5100m above the sea level. it take 7/8 hours walks. We have to pack lunch on day hike up. When we rich on Tserkuri peak, if weather is clear we will incredible view from the peak. Langtang Lirung, Nayakang, Ganja la pass and Ganesh Himal. Then return to same lodge stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Trek to Lama Hotel (2,380m/7,830ft): 5/6 hours

After warm breakfast we will continue to Lama Hotel which is passing before same trail. it take 5/6 hours and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316 ft): 5-6 hours

After warm breakfast we will continue to thulo syabru which is old tamang village and Beautiful farm. Also Old Monastry and thamang and Sherpa culture with excellent ganesh Himal scenery stay overnight at lodge.

 Day 11: Trek to Shin Gompa: 3-4 hours

After warm breakfast we will continue trek to Shin Gompa. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Shingompa. We will enjoy ever green blue pine trees and Oak trees along the way stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Trek to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft): 5-6 hours

After warm breakfast trek to Gosaikunda which is most popular Hinduism and Buddhism 108 secret holy lakes shrine by shiva created water source at the height of 4460m from the sea level. Specially Full fist October has biggest celebrated lot’s of pilgrimages take bath and people believe achieved what they wish further, stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Trek to Ghopte (3,440m/11,286ft): 6-8 hours

After having breakfast we will sollowly climb up Lauribinayek pass which is elevation of 4610m and continue to Ghopte trek to Ghopte. After Lauribinayek pass long descending to Ghopte , stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Trek to Melanchi Gaun (2500m) 4 hours

After breakfast trek to Melanchi Gaun, The tired body slow walk Melanchi gaun , take lunch and visit to Gurung Padme shree cave and Monastery. The popular Helm Sherpa villages and fantastic local Sherpa culture, stay overnight at lodge.

Day 15: Trek from Malnchi Gaun to Tarkegyang (2560m) – 6 Hours

After warm breakfast in Tharepati we slowly start our trek to Tarkegyang. The melanchi gaun bitten track off and local foot trail to Tarkeghayang, It takes 6 hours to reach stay overnight at lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Tarkegyang to Sermathang (2610m) – 4 Hours  

After warm breakfast in Tarkegyang, we continue trek to Sermathang is day hike enjoy with beautiful Dorje Lakpa, Sisapangma and many others trekking peaks. Will have testy local food and Helmu Sherpa culture, stay overnight at lodge.

Day 17: Trek from Sermathang to Melamchi Pul Bazaar and drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast we will continue trek to Melamchi pul Bazaar, It takes 4 hours and try to catch up Vehicle transfer to Kathmandu stay overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Final International Departure

We will drop you to the TIA for your final departure and happy journey your hometown, hope to see you again and good bye.
