Jiri to Everest Base camp Trek is one of the oldest and most famous trekking routes of Everest region.  This trekking route is still used by porters and pack animals, but fewer trekkers than Lukla to Base Camp Trek. This trekking route is the combination of natural and cultural wonders. This trekking route offers us an opportunity to see the beautiful scenery of Himal. Mainly Sherpa were lived here and many families along this route have converted their home into trekker lodges catering to foreign trekker.  For this trekking route a new road allows buses to continue beyond Jiri to Shivalaya where the trek now begins. Varying altitudes, diverse floras and faunas, ethnic cultures and indigenous lifestyles are some of the highlights of the trek which takes you from the midland hills through the beaten tracks into the Himalaya. This trekking route starts from Jiri to Namche. In this trekking route you have passes through numerous interesting villages that are now visited by a small number of trekkers each year.

Jiri to Everest Base camp Trek highly offer who are physically fit are to determine to challenge them with unpredictability of mountain life. The trail passes through beautifully terraced farmlands, forests and classic middle-hill countryside combination Gokyo Valley , Chola Pass. In this trekking we can also visit Sagarmatha national park if you have a Tim’s card or permit. The view of awesome mountain and the beautiful scenery makes your trekking especial and you can click picture of this route.  The best seasons for this trekking route are spring (March – May) and autumn (September, October) but we offer this trek during all four seasons. You will also have the chance to have a close look at the spectacular Khumbu Icefall in Everest Base Camp. This type of trekking is for that trekker who wants real adventurers and looking for a challenging trek.

Day 04: Jiri – Deurali (2,500m.) 7 – 8 hrs
Day 05: Durali – Sete (2,520m/8,220ft): 5-6 hrs
Day 06: Sete–Junbesi (2,680m/8,850ft): 6-7 hrs
Day 07: Junbesi – Nunthala (2,250m/7,500ft): 5-6 hrs
Day 08: Nunthala–Bupsa (2,360m/7,750ft): 5-6 hrs
Day 09: Bupsa–Payu (2,590m/8,550ft): 5-6 hrs
Day 10: Payu-Phakding (2680m) 7 hours
Day 11: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 – 6 hours
Day 12: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)
Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Phortse (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5- 6 hours
Day 14: Phortse to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 9km, 5 – 6 hours
Day 15: Dingboche Acclimatization Day
Day 16: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m) 5/6 hours
Day 17: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft): 13km
Day 18: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Pherice (4,288m/14,070ft): 16km, 7-8 hours
Day 19: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 20km, 6 – 7 hours
Day 20: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 – 7 hours
Day 21: Fly to Kathmandu (30 Minute) Explore and shopping
Day 22: Final International departure

Details Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

Arrival in Kathmandu, The representatives by Everest Trekking Routes will welcome to you at TIA Upon your Arrival. We transfer to hotel overnight stay.

Day 02: Full day Sight Seeing Kathmandu Valley

After the breakfast, we spend the whole day sightseeing tour in Kathmandu Valley as major point. One of the biggest Stupa in the world, Bouddhanath stupa and Monastry, Old heritage Buddhist temple Soyembhunath and Monastry, Kathmandu Durbar Squer Kumari temple and Patan Durbar Squar krishna temple. The kathmandu sightseeing is real Nepalese traditional culture and heritage touring, After tour will back to hotel and preparation the Everest Camp Trek Trip overnight stay hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Jiri (1,900m) 6-7 hour drive

Early morning take breakfast then drive to Jiri it take around 6/7 hours east part of Kathmandu. The road is tiny and adventure tough category. Must pass several tropical villages toward to reach Jiri district of Dolakha and visit to Jiri Bazaar. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 04: Jiri – Deurali (2,500m.) 7 - 8 hrs

After breakfast trek to Deurali it takes 7 – 8 hours normal walk. From jiri start local trail to climb couple hour the trail to descending sivalaya take light lunch and then huge climb up to reach deurali which is popular Sherpa and Jirel villages, Little chilly at night and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 05: Durali – Sete (2,520m/8,220ft): 5-6 hrs

After breakfast continue trek to Sete. More than thousand meters downhill to reach kinja take lunch local type of clean local food and massive climb up forward sete, stay overnight at lodge.

Day 06: Sete–Junbesi (2,680m/8,850ft): 6-7 hrs

Afer breakfast trek to Junbesi start cooler into oak, blue pine and rhododendron forest with wonderful himalayan range and stop for lunch before junbesi. The junbesi is also popular local Sherpa village and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 07: Junbesi – Nunthala (2,250m/7,500ft): 5-6 hrs

After breakfast trek to Nunthala, take more than 7 hours walking distance must pass several Sherpa Villages and Apple farm Ringmo. After ringmo couple hour climb top of deurali and descend to Nunthala stay overnight at lodge.

Day 08: Nunthala–Bupsa (2,360m/7,750ft): 5-6 hrs

After breakfast trek to Bupsa, during the day will have to downhill which is rai village Juving after that couple hour climb to Kharikhola take lunch beautiful magar and Sherpa village forward to Bupsa stay overnight at lodge.

Day 09: Bupsa–Payu (2,590m/8,550ft): 5-6 hrs

After breakfast trek to payu is evergreen bamboo forest and wild part spectacular Himalayan scenery to reach Payu stay overnight at lodge.

Day 10: Payu-Phakding (2680m) 7 hours

After breakfast trek to Phakding, we are joining which are most popular Everest base camp tails and busy touristic area. Because those travelers has short holiday and would like to see Mt. Everest they can take both way lukla to lukla by domestic flight. And forward to Phakding stay overnight at lodge.

Day 11: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280 ft): 11km, 5 – 6 hours

After hot breakfast trek to Namche Bazaar, the biggest village of khumbu region, which is most popular Himalayan city Touristic area same as Kathmandu and Pokhara. Trekking toward to Monjo Entering Sagarmath National Park and Trekkers Information Management System Main Gate. Flow up Dudhkoshi River and crossing highest double substance bridge bottom of the Namche. If have change to see mt. everest on trail and continue to Namche. Stay overnight at lodge.

Day 12: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)

Today Explore and Acclimatization day, after breakfast visit to Sherpa Museum which is popular by khumbu region about the Sherpa culture and history and will have hike to top of the Everest view point take cup of tea or coffee at Everest View lodge. If weather is perfect then will see Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Island Peak, Amadablam and Many Others Trekking peak.  When we return from Everest View point visit to Khumjung Village and Admon Hillary high school take lunch and back to Namche , Little sightseeing stay overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Namche Bazaar to Phortse  (3,870m/12,694ft): 10km, 5- 6 hours

After breakfast we will continue trek to Phortse medium beautiful sherpa village. Beginning part flat and easy after sanasa moderate slide and stepping to Mongla situate 4000m. Take lunch that is depend on choice and extremely descending to phortse tenga pass the bridge and end of our destination stay overnight at lodge.

Day 14: Phortse to Dingboche (4,360 m/14,300 ft): 9km, 5 – 6 hours

After hot breakfast we will continue trek to Dingboche, which is massive viewpoint and chance to see lots of wild animals as Blue sheep, dear, Himalayan thar, and Many of Domestic Yaks brousing grass. The phortse to Dingboche is most beautiful trail select by Everest Trekking Routes. Take lunch at Upper Pangboche or Samare and slowly trek to Dingboche stay overnight at lodge.

Day 15: Dingboche Acclimatization Day

Today Acclimatization day at dingboche just light hike to little pick or hike to Chhukung just combination acute mountain sickness and visit to Dingboche Sherpa Villages. Will have to wear warm cloth and take lots of drinking water. Make sure could reach our Destination to EBC stay extra night at lodge.

Day 16: Dingboche to Lobuche (4910 m) 5/6 hours

After hot breakfast we will continue trek to Lobuche, over 4000 meter have to most care health because before lobuche slowly toward dhukla and take lunch and rest for while and hard part stepping and amazing tabuche peak,  Amabablam peak, Lobuche peak, Pumary peak and  Nupse Peak. Its make us enjoy and stay overnight at lodge.

Day 17: Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5170 m/16,961ft), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m/17,594 ft): 13km

From Lobuche to Gorakshep takes more than 2 hours and must leave early morning, because take hot drink as tea or coffee continue to Gorakshep and get accommodation leave bag. Before visit to Everest Base Camp we have to Breakfast and take with us light food. It is hard and long day all most 8 to 10 hours. Return from EBC stay overnight at lodge.

Day 18: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) to Pherice (4,288m/14,070ft): 16km, 7-8 hours

Early morning hike to Kala Pathar peak 5545m. Which is our main destination sun rise and panoramic views front of the Mt everest and Pumari Expedition, Magnificent himayan range and return to Gorakshep take breakfast after that continue trek to Phiriche or Pangboche stay overnight at lodge.

Day 19: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft): 20km, 6 – 7 hours

After breakfast, we trek toward the Hillary Suspension Bridge and then pass through several local villages toward to old Buddhist tengboche monastery. It takes 7/8 hour easy downhill and more traffic yaks and Porters Continue trek to Namche stay overnight at lodge.

Day 20: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft): 19km, 6 – 7 hours

After breakfast same way to return lukla, easy downhill but more traffic yak, Jhopkyo, Porters toward to manjo.  Before lukla take light lunch and continue to lukla, finaly we will complete our trip and warm up with all team to say good bye for local porters waiting for flight to Kathmandu stay overnight at lodge.

Day 20: Fly to Kathmandu (30 Minute) Explore and shopping

After breakfast we short walk to airport and waiting for flight. Because some time very hard to get flight and lots of people waiting. We must reservation for flight before our trip. When we arrived in Kathmandu explore and shopping souvenir to your family.

Day 21: Final International departure

We will drop you to the TIA for your final departure and happy journey your hometown, hope to see you again and good bye.
