Chulu Far East Peak Climbing

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing is one of the easier peak climbing trips in the beautiful Annapurna region of Nepal. This was first ascended by the German Expedition Team in 1955.Climbing this moderate peak is a relatively easy climbing adventure. It passes through a beautiful landscape with lush vegetation with traditional and cultural heritage dominated by the Gurung people in the Annapurna region bringing you to you the apex of this peak. This trip offers you a taste of everything that the Himalayas has to offer. The climb is straightforward and has a rewarding experience to view the Annapurna mountain range. It offers magnificent views of world’s famous mountain ranges including Mt. Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Manaslu and many other snow-covered peaks. There are two routes to base camp, both are interesting. The expedition sets its base camp and then passes on to high camp to conquer the zenith of the peak clambering over rough, steep scree leads to a broad glaciated ridge with slopes of varying angles.

Chulu Far East Peak Climbing starts with a full day’s drive from Kathmandu to Ngadi. From Ngadi we walk through narrow ascending trails surrounded by the dense forest to reach Upper Pisang over a few days. We then follow the route, climbing to the summit of Chulu Far East which is rock-strewn, icy and almost vertical. In this trip, we will stay at a high camp where it will be cool as it follows the long south-west ridge on snow and ice. This trip also encompasses the world’s highest lake – Tilicho Lake (4,949m) which holds a special position among Hindu followers. This climbing trip is organized to give you both an exhilarating climbing time as well as a wonderful trekking experience to the crystalline glacier lake – Lake Tilicho and the adventurous crossing of the Meso Kanta La Pass.

This trip is organized by Everest Trekking Routes which have over 20 years’ experience in Trekking, Tours, Peak Climbing and many others activities in Nepal.
